I had a 921. (Of course, I paid $1K for it when it first came out )
In May, through Satellite Guys/DishStore I purchased a 922 for $499, which was the going rate at the time. I then called Dish Network and asked for the $200 trade in deal on the 921. I told them I bought the receiver, and they said that as long as I committed to HD programming for a set period of time, I could send the 921 back for the $200 credit.
However, I noticed that I have been being charged a $6 lease fee since then. I called to ask about this, and the CSR said it was because I "lease" my reciever. I told her that I BOUGHT my receiver, to which she replied that I did not.
Does this make any sense? Did getting the $200 trade in screw me up?
PS - I have the Dish HDGold package, and I also have the pre-pay 1 year of all of the movie channels (It used to be the "Everything Pack", but they told me I could not prepay that once I switched to the HD Gold )
