A friend of mine is leaving town and wants to leave me the DirecTV R10 TiVO/reciever. Will these two receivers be compatible? If so, how? Any input is appreciated, thanks.

The R10 only records directly off satellite lines. Run three lines from your multiswitch, hook each receiver up to different inputs on your TV and enjoy.
