I would like to receive this particular channel:
http://www.lyngsat-address.com/ab/Al-Jazeera-Sat-Ch.html
the only FTA satellite that seems to cover my region (Canada Toronto) is Intelsat 907.
on this page:
http://www.lyngsat.com/i907.html
it says beam NW zone, does it correspond to my region ?
looks like it
cuz this other page is confusing me:
http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/trend.html
looks like trendtv is a provider (encrypted) that is emitting same chanel on same sat on ku band, and the fta is on c-band.

also will a 120cm c-band dish be enought, what lnb and receiver ?
I would to be able to receive ku as well with same dish
how a motor would be able to get 2 different satellites since they dont have same azymuth, elevation ...isnt it better to use like the wave frontier toroidal antenna ?

thanks much appreciated :)

A C-band dish has to be over 6 feet in diameter, 10 feet is ideal. A 120cm dish is ideal for KU satellites only.

The motor is offset to an angle and when you motor left and right your dish rises and falls as it moves following all the satellites in the sky (Clarke Belt).

The only bad thing about a motorized dish is it can usually only see one satellite at a time, but with a fixed dish and some switches and some extra LNB you can see more than one satellite at a time.

It is FTA on C-band and also part of TrendTV on Ku. You should be able to get it Toronto.

also will a 120cm c-band dish be enough,
That dish size will not work for C-Band, a 10 foot dish would be optimal.

what lnb and receiver ?
A circular C-band lnb. Any FTA/MPEG receiver should work.
