Dumb question: If I have a Wally with an external HDD attached, say a Seagate drive, is the format of the recorded stuff on the drive proprietary? Or can it be viewed if attached to a PC?

Another question: If the Wally dies and needs to be replaced, can the external drive of the dead Wally be attached to the new Wally? It would seem that the answer is "Yes", but I'm just curious.
