Question about 622 install

I have a 622 receiver, so I'm assuming my dish was installed with a dual and not a quad LNB. Does a dual tuner receiver use both outputs on the LNB? I have another receiver that I would like to install on a 3rd TV, but will that require me to buy a new quad LNB?

There is only one output from the LNBS/switches required for the 622. In your box should have been a small switch with 2 outputs to feed both Sat1 and Sat2 lines.

So just to clarify, if all I currently have installed is one 622 receiver, then I will be able to install a 2nd receiver (311) with no additional equipment?

There is no 100% "correct" answer to your question until we know more detail. What does the "Check Switch" say your connected equipment is?

If your 622 is currently installed and working with the separator (one line in, connected to both tuners) then yes you could add the 2nd receiver.
