Purchasing a 942

I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy a 942. My question is what will the support from Dish Network be like if I purchase it through a dealer like dishstore.net rather then directly from Dish. Also would any future receiver upgrades or replacements be affected? I know how Dish CSR's are and don't want to have to deal with them brushing me off because I didn't purchase the receiver from Dish.

The CSRs will give you the same false information as if you were leasing it.

DISH does not sell the 942 directly to customers. The only way to buy is to go to retailer like dishstore. DISH only leases the 942 to NEW customers.
