Design bugs. What is going on? If my Hopper unit ran like it does now back in Oct when I got it it would have been out the door in less than a week and now I’m thinking of going back (shutter) to cable! As I’ve read this forum about so many problems people have I thought I’m lucky that hasn’t happened to mine. YET, “your eligible too.” 10 to 100 second return, timer really screwed up, many ½ recorded programs, cold weather black outs and on and on. It’s so bad my wife won’t put it ON for fear of something else messing up and she showed me how to get around things in the past.

“S234 has caused my Hopper to become increasingly unreliable. Slowness, tuner management issues, audio problems, channel changes going to black, banner info incorrect/not updating, time remaining incorrect and recording problems where the recording icon in My Recordings stays stuck on the program icon, then the program is unplayable. The majority is since the download, but livable, but now this recording issue is as of the past 2 days and reproduceable even after nightly and red button resets. Not good. So far, I've been pretty happy with Hopper, but this is reminding me of previous Dish products. Get your software engineering together, Echo/Dish. “
Instead of talking Dish, fix is the term to use. Surly someone must be able to make it a much more usable product.
