I had my Dish Network installed yesterday. The technician left before I tried all the TV's out. (They were downloading information). Downstairs works fine, upstairs I have a dual tuner. TV1 works fine. For TV2, I get the information channel on channel 73 with the help guide. The TV will not change channels, however, and I think I have memorized their help guide. I have been through the user manual and done the following:
Any thoughts of something simpler, or should I just call out Dish Network again?
Also, within a few hours of getting the service installed, heavy clouds came in (prior to a storm), and I lost my signal. My signal strength is reading 75. This (hopefully) doesn't seem like a normal problem except in perhaps extreme storms. Do you think the technician needs to re-aim?

- Reset the system
- Checked to make sure the antenna was plugged in on the receiver
- Re-checked the address on the remote
- Double checked to make sure the receiver was set to Channel 73
- Moved the receiver to ensure that it did not have interference from other equipment
- Gone through install procedures for remote and TV2
- Checked batteries
- Check wiring connections that technician installed (all look appropriate)
