If i have only one receiver will the $4.99 only be charged if i get a second receiver. I know if you add on a second one you get charged. I am getting credits at this point.

Yes...the $4.99 per month charge will be added for every receiver after the first. This is in addition to whatever the upfront cost of the receiver is.
