Possible to replace UHF Remote w/ Universal?

Hi,
we have a bedroom setup with a TV, DVD, Receiver, etc.
I'm not particularly fond of the 522 remote (not back lit, not as intuitive as I would like, etc.) and wanted to replace it with a Universal remote. The bedroom has the TV2 remote (i.e. UHF).

Does anybody know if this can be done? Has anybody done this?

There are several RF capable universal remotes, but I'm not sure it'll work, as those are typically for IR components that you want to turn into RF.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not at this time the 522 remote 2 is UHF only so some universal remote manufacturer would have to make a remote to work on the frequency that DISH uses.
