Today, I noticed some positive changes for Dish Anywhere on my PC (windows 10, Edge Chromium):

The red progress bar no longer remains on top of the video image. It disappears after a few seconds of inactivity the way it is supposed to.

You can now move the current video position dot that is in the red progress bar, and it actually works! You can skip back to anywhere in the current video stream.

There is a setup icon that allows you to select Video Quality, Video Play Speed, Audio Quality, and Subtitles.

The video quality has improved, and now that I can select 1920X1080 @ 5632Kbps, the video stays looking good!

I did also notice that the skip forward and skip back icons are no longer there, hopefully they will return in a future update.

I hope Dish will continue to improve Dish Anywhere. Good job Dish!

I am not sure what is going on, but I just used Dish Anywhere and the Video Quality, Video Play Speed, and Audio Quality settings that I described in my first post are now missing from the interface! Also, the skip forward and skip back icons have reappeared.

I liked it better the way it was a few hours ago!

Maybe you should uninstall it and reinstall it.

That could indicate they're actively working on it, but found a few bugs to squash when they live tested it. I see it as a good sign anyway...

That's kind of what I was thinking. Or possibly, they let it out by mistake.

All of the nice improvements that I posted about in my first post are gone!

We can look into this error code further if you can contact our support team so we can access your account. Do your browsers meet the minimum requirements? Those are:

Chrome (Windows) version 78
Safari (Mac) version 12
Chrome (Mac) version 75

Just checked my DishAnywhere on 2 windows 10 PC's.

One with Chrome version 80, the other With Microsoft Edge 80 beta.

Both loaded and played programming from my H3.

Dish Anywhere still does not work on either my PC or Mac. Both are wired connections. Error message 2052.

You are not alone. Doesn't work here on our showroom unit either unless I use a VPN or a different ISP.
