My 82-year old Dad is going RVing and will be using a new Dish 1000.2 (110, 1119, 129) for his new 722K. Just trying to make it easy for him by setting the skew and elevation for him; he'll of course make sure the mast is plumb and set the azimuth. I tried to look up the aiming info for him and got two different skew angles.
The RV park is in zip code 87722 and more precisely at 36.1778 Lat. & -105.2330 Long.
DishPointer has a skew of 108
SatCalculator has a skew of 102
The elevation and azimuth calculations are close enough.
Why the big skew difference and which one should we trust? Is there another more accurate site to check?
