if you left the 625 plugged in while changing the cables out earlier it may need a (plug pull) hard reset. sometimes the arcing on live connections can cause internal problems.

I surely did. Many time in fact. Lol

Just wanted to say thanks again for the help. I NEVER would have gotten it on my own. Now I can lay in bad at night and watch TV thanks to you guys. I hate just going to bed without TV.

Hello again everyone.

Since this last post, I have gone up camping and used the setup about 5-6 times without issue. The last time I went and few weeks ago, I was never able to get it to work. I am now in the driveway (leaving Wednesday) and still am not able to get a signal. I have everything hooked up as i always have, and I get a message that I am not making connection with the satellite. Sometimes I ge tthe "Complete signal loss" message.

I undid all the connections and made sure they are tight. They are. Checked voltage at the connection to the dish and have 19v. The only thing that I can think of is a bad LNB. Is there a way for the home user with a meter to check the LNB?

This is a message that I get after running the check switch. Where I am unsure is does this mean that the connection is ok but the dish is not pointed correctly?

OK so a friend had an extra dish so i grabbed it from him.

I am wondering if it will work with my 625dvr that I run in the trailer.
