Interestingy, most of the rumors I heard in 2005 were that Brown would join the Cavs.
In retrospect, are you happy he didn't join the team, or do you ever wonder what if?
Larry Brown and LeBron never really hit it off. LB coached LBJ in the Olympics when LeBron was a rookie (2004). Stubborn ol' Larry Brown sat LeBron and he barely saw any action at all on the courts. Coincidentally enough, Team USA didn't win Gold that year. Instead, they finished with a Bronze medal. Maybe if stubborn ol' Brown gave more playing-time to the "Best Player in the World", Team USA may have fared better that year. Instead, he was persistent that "no rookie" would play in the games under his rule.
