Does anyone know what resolution "regular" I mean not Hd Bell expressvu is broadcast at.
I have a 1080i set and they did some kind of software update today.
Pic looks a little better than before.
I lost all my PVR recordings and timer setups.
The PVR functions are a lot more detailed than before also.

What model of receiver do you have? You mentioning that you lost all of your PVR recordings scares me. I have an entire year's worth of "The Vinyl Cafe" from CBC Radio recorded on to my PVR's hard drive. I haven't had a chance to transfer them over to my PC yet. I would hate to lose all of my recordings due to a firmware update. (I have a model 5900)

Most SD BEV channels are 704x480. Always were.

I noticed the same thing. Both HD and non-HD have looked better for a few days now.

BEV completed switch to new real-time VBR encoders (for HD) last month.

Channels are sent out at 720 X 480... By the time they hit the encoder they loose a few Horizontal lines for compression..
