Hey folks, I have been a Dish subscriber for a long time and never had this problem before, but for the last couple of months, the picture just seems to freeze (voice usually continues) on my 622. Have noticed that it usually happens when I am watching an HD Channel and around 10 PM EST!! The only thing that will make the live picture come back is a hard reset (power off doesn't work), after which it goes into "Acquiring satellite signal ..." mode before finally coming back with the video.

Am in Atlanta and have four satellites with a DP 44 switch. Satellite with signal strengths during the day are: 61.5 (60 to 70), 110 (60 to 70), 119 (70 to 80) and 129 (30 to 40).

The Dish guys came out to check last week and said there were some loose connections outside that were fixed now but am still having the same issue everday! Am wondering if this is due to signal dropoff on the 129 at night (I use the 61.5 for international channels, not HD). Does anyone know if Dish changed anything on the 129 in the last couple of months?

I have the green pixelization a lot (daily) and sometimes black screen but not freezes or lost signal on the Atlanta HD locals on the 129 sat transponder 4 - I think WSB channel 2 is the worst one out of the bunch though

Thanks Allen - I do see pixelation on my HD locals once in a while as well. However, I am seeing my freezes on all the Voom HD channels including HD Discovery, HD TLC, HD Equator, HD Animal Planet!

Sorry for the double posts

I'm not sure - I don't have the DPP44 switch in my setup just a 1000.2 dish and a single dish 500 with i adapter pointed at 61.5 hooked into the 1000.2 lnb in slot with a 622 on a separator , 510 , and a 311 receivers

My 622 defaults to 61.5 mostly on the Voom channels

I to have a LOT of pixelization on the Atlanta HD locals. It is worse at night. Sometimes the picture will freeze but still have audio, but most of the time its just VERY BAD pixelization. I can tune to the over the air station and the picture is just fine, so it must be something with the uplink or 129. If it was my setup, I would think I would have the same problems during the day which I dont.
