Missed this forum for a couple of days. Friday (Oct 12) at 10:20PM, my wife a nd I were fortunate to welcome to our world a baby girl - Kristen Lynne, 6lbs. 6 ozs. , 18 1/2 inches. On the downside though, my father passed the next day at 5:30 PM. People come , people go. Unfortunately, he passed without even knowing he had another grandchild. We were going to see him on Sunday and surprise him, but the phone call regarding his passing came as I was leaving the hospital on Saturday.

Mother and baby are doing just fine!
I hope you guys didn't mind my posting this here, but a majority of my friends and my posting are in this forum. Ramy, feel free to move this if it's inappropriate. See you guys in a few days.

Paul....I wish you the very best with that new beautiful little princess!:up And with the same breath, it saddens me to hear that your father passed away. Though we do have a disagreements or two, you sound like a man of solid principles and I am sure that most, if not all came the from the solid foundation your parents instilled in you. My deepest sympathies....

We brought the baby home today. My face hurts from smiling. Tomorrow starts 3 days of funeral. Not looking forward to that.
