Yes you can. Property rights (in this case, marketing rights) can always be sold in perpetuity. As long as the Phillies keep up their end of the written contract, then the rights remain theirs.

You start off with saying that with no email to prove what happened existing (ie. paper trail), that what said couldn't be proven, then are shown that there was a written contract, so then you go off on these tangents that have nothing to do with it.
