I recorded the show LOST on ATSC this evening on an external SATA Hard Drive. It plays back fine on the Pansat, what kind of driver or file do I need to read the DR. DOS partition in order to watch the show on my PC?

My PC is Windows XP, I have also tryed FreeBSD and Knoppix with no luck.

Thanks

I had a friend of mine look at the raw data of my hard drive. Its turns out that file system is some kind of hacked version of FAT32 that is referred to as PVRFAT32.

We are now trying to figure what exactly is different and more importantly how we can mount the drive on a standard operating system.

I am disappointed in the folks at Pansat for pulling a stunt like this, one of the reasons a person would want to record TV is for the ability to save it to a DVD and rewatch, or just watch it at a later time.

I can understand digital rights management on any thing received on the satellite side, however in this case I am only interested in recording and watching and recording ATSC programming.
