AnyDVD HD has a couple of trailer removal tools, when converting to Iso. With those features selected, you can test play the movie to ensure the trailers are removed and the rip will not have a problem. What is a cheap or free playback utility I can install on my laptop just to playback the movie real quick to test the trailer removal?

If lossless audio playback is a must, I'd go with ArcSoft (non-free). Works nicely in WMC7.
You can get there with a player using customized graphs and ffdshow.

Regular DD/DTS (even DD+) inside a M2TS file will be playable with stock WMP in Win7.

Diogen.

I just need something simple. With AnyDVD HD, if you select "remove trailers", you can play the movie back on the PC to ensure the ripped ISO will come out OK with trailers removed, as a test. This way you do not rip it, and it not work later.
