  • Server Issues.

We are very aware that there have been system issues the past few days. In troubleshooting the system, it has been determined that the issue is at our provider and is hardware related. As of 12:05 PM ET our provider has moved us to a new server.

Things seem to be running better on this new server. However in trying to diagnose the issue (before finding out it was a hardware issue) we made some system changes which we need to undo. So if you find any issues or errors please let us know in the Operations Center Forum.

Thank you for your patience! Sorry for the issue!

That's a Durabrand tv, and it's quite old. It's a CRT, not even hd. You need to be on an av input, not channel 3.

Would you consider upgrading your tv? The price of hd tvs is very reasonable.

It worked before, but now the snow screen is gone and a screen popped up stating tv or its cables are not HD! I kind of knew that but it still worked when he hooked all of it up, and my genie remote won't work where it says to press and hold down the exit key until you see a confermation that your receiver has been set for standard definition.

Ritamorris, there should be buttons on the tv somewhere to change the input to a/v. Is there a pop open panel on the front below the screen, or maybe the buttons are on the back of the set.

That's with the remote that she said she doesn't have. Maybe use the menu button on the front of the tv. Look for the av input.
I would imagine theres probably a GAME button in the TV as well.
I'll roll further thru the manual.

Looks like there is a Video Input button on the TV behind the door on the front bottom.

Chip,
Take a look on the left side of that page, next to the one that shows the buttons on the TV, it says Selecting Audio/Video Inputs ...
Does that sound like its still talking about using the remote ?
It really doesn't say .
