I just upgraded to a Dish HD package and love it. However, I'm in an area where I don't receive local HD channels and am unable to get any kind of signal with an OTA antenna (bottom floor of an apartment, surrounded by trees, next to a PPL powerplant). The jerks that installed my dish lied to me and told me that "as long as it's broadcast in HD, you'll see it in HD" and that Dish carried my local HD channels. They were, of course, very wrong.
So I was wondering if there is a way to get a Philly HD local? I know I read that Dish offered that (or used to) to people who can't get their local channels in HD. Just curious of that was still going on or what. Thanks!
