I live in Bonita Springs FL 34134....furthest transmission tower is 35 miles North. All stations I want to receive are due North of my home within 5-6 degrees on a spread of each other. Channel numbers range for 11 to 49.

I was getting all the digital stations (that's ll I'm interested in) with a Audiovox TERK HDTVo antenna mounted to my Dish mast. Swapped out my Dish 811's for Vip211's and lost 1 station completely (CBS Channel 11) and rendered two others unwatchable.

I would like to try and stay with an antenna that I could mount to my Dish mast but will go with a separate mast if I have to. Also, please let me know if I will need a pre amp and amp for the anntenna you recommend. Any recommendations for an reasonably priced antenna that will fit my needs is greatly appreciated..

I would look at a few of these and aim toward the 8° heading based on your zip code needs.

Channel Master CM 3679
Winegard PR 7042
Winegard HD 7084P
Radio Shack Model: VU-90 XR / Catalog #: 15-2152

Okay...I'll check them out...they look to be huge fringe area antennas. You think I need something that has a boom length of over 100 inches for a 35 mile distance?

This is the Antenna you want. I am 30 miles from the towers and have a 10 degree spread. I get em all at 95-100%. Including VHF channel 11

This is the preamp you want.

Also if you are so inclined you may want a rotor so you can fine tune the position (not needed but VERY convienient)

This stuff is available from other vendors as well. I'm not pushing Solid Signal that's just where I got my stuff.
