I don't see why they wouldnt allow it... there are other web browsers available for the iphone, I use one called Mercury that is in the app store, and does everything safari does as far as I can tell
I like it on the PC, and use it on my berry. It would be interesting to see it on the Iphone, but only to have a choice, the safari browser is great already.
It just didnt seem to work quite right on my storm. It was very fast, but that speed was offset by stuff like not opening/closing the keyboard automatically.
Opera Mini was the only thing that came even close to "working" on my wife's Blackberry curve on the cursed ATT edge network. I guess all that back end caching is the key to their speed.
