I saw that too and laughed my butt off. I wondered if anyone else saw it .

That's what I thought.That she's in love with Phillip, I think.
That she's in love with Phillip, I think. S~
Aurora: How long have you been there? What are you doing?
Mulan: Just finding my courage. … Is Phillip here?
Aurora: No, shall I get him?
Mulan: No, that’s unnecessary. It’s you I wanted to talk to. You see… Why are you smiling at me?
Aurora: I can tell you were bursting with news, but so am I. … Phillip and I are expecting a baby!
Mulan: That’s excellent news.
Aurora: It’s like a dream come true. Please, please, tell me your news.
Mulan: I’m joining Robin Hood’s band.
Aurora: You’re leaving us?
Mulan: I’m afraid so. Goodbye.
Thank you that's how we 'read" it too. Then I was reading these posts, and I was thinking man we really got that wrong. !! Glad we weren't alone!I think she wanted to tell Aurora she was in love with her. I don't know how to read it any other way. If she was in love with Philip, I think she would have gone to him first. In the dialogue below, she specifically tells Aurora it's not necessary to get Philip for her, i.e., what she has to say specifically pertains to Aurora.

Exactly, and that's what it was referring to. I highly doubt Family Friendly Disney was going to go the Lesbian route with 2 disney princesses. My thoughts is she was going to come clean with Aurora about her and Phillip during Aurora's sleep. But you had the whole backstory with Phillip and Mulan.
Getting tired of Neverland ... and Pan.
Me too! But there is so many ways you can tell a fairy tale and make them interesting. That is why I couldn't believe that they would have the bad sense to do a spin off in Wonderland. But leave it to Hollywood and tv executives to beat an idea to death.
