? on Locals and 811 reciever

Hi all, I apologize up front if this is not the right place for this or if it has already been covered. My question is this, if my programing includes local channels, do I still need an OTA antenna to get locals on 811 or is that just for local HD? I am due to get my system installed Fri. 17th w/ 811/522/311. Thanks in advance, Joe

Local Channels

Dish will have those on satellite. I would recommend a external antenna to see your local DT and take full advantage of your 811 receiver. Here is a good antenna guide if you don't already have one.
