yep.Right now, Parcell's and the new ownership really do not get along. Remember, Parcell gets paid REGARDLESS of whether he finish the season or not.

...AND pass the play calling to someone else OTHER the NEW Big Tub-of-Goo....Tom Cable.
I had on of my buddies tell me that after the Denver game, he was with abig group of tailgaters and JaMarcus Russell drove by and yelled some uncalled for sh** to a bunch of fans. This was confirmed by a report in the Bleacher Report the other day.....
..F*** Him!!!:rant::rant:
Oakland Raiders: Is JaMarcus Russell Betraying Raider Nation? | Bleacher Report
I have had enough, this year was looking promising, ESPECIALLY after last years finish....
LMAO! At least your honest.
I feel your pain btw buddy. My Browns look just as bad, if not worse than your Raiders.
Madden is not going to coach.
Man...what happened to the promise of Quinn and Russell. I mean there was ALL this hope and promise that these two guys were soooo good coming out of college. .
That's the way i read it. let me know who doesn't understand. i'll take care of it!Folks...NONE of my statements said anything about coaching. I mean as a GM or President of Operations.
Ironically, they played each other head-to-head in their final college game.
I told you not to put too much faith in him. He's a dumbass in the first degree. Always has been. His idiotic decisions on the field cost LSU a possible NC when he was there. All talent and no brains....AND pass the play calling to someone else OTHER the NEW Big Tub-of-Goo....Tom Cable.

Garcia: I'd return to Oakland - if I was the starter.
Basically says anything about the all the Raiders being on board with Cable is a sham and too many people are just there to collect a paycheck rather than wanting to win.
Im not sure how many times you said 'preseason means nothing!' but clearly you must not have meant it.
Garcia is a veteran who threw for 2700 yards last season on a poor Buccaneers team, he's an improvement in the leadership and accuracy department over anyone Oakland has at QB.
Being able to convert some of these 3rd downs and keeping the running game on the field is all the Raiders would really have needed to beat San Diego, hard to say how different the Denver game would have been if they had a QB that could get them more than 3 yards per catch. No wonder Cable kept running, all 4 runners (including JaMarcus) had a higher YPC than his average completion.
Well this is a first. Salsa has managed to turn against the topic of the thread he created. The original topic was that Russell sucked and should be benched immediately. Now salsa says that Jeff Garcia is an arrogant ass and he'd rather suffer with Russell. I think Sandra would appreciate the irony of this.
Well, it's not cause he says so, if he was signed there's a good chance he'd be the best QB on the roster the moment he sets foot on it.
Not worth the time to pick apart your preseason stuff, he played on par with the other backups... if his deficit behind the others was as large as you say then JaMarcus's progression from 7/24 to 12/20 is a relative miracle and clearly all problems have been solved.
Since Garcia's comments, some players and a Raiders reporter have said Garcia was as lazy as the rest of the team (thought I seem to remember reports to the contrary at the time) during his tenure.
There are two sides to every story, and if Al Davis doesn't make a change he's just flushed a high 1st round 2011 pick away on a 30 year old DT with a short window for cashing in on the value it's earned him. Garcia has thrown for 25,000 yards in his career and would be the best QB on the roster of unprovens/suspected busts if her were re-signed, he's got every reason to expect to start against that competition and just made it known he'd be willing do it (and Cable wont rule it out).
Now that it's a battle of words in the media, wouldn't be surprised if the Raiders don't go on record bashing him and flounder without him just on principle.
With Al Davis already mortgaging the future to try and win now, maybe he'll send a package of picks Cleveland's way for whichever is their backup QB that particular hour.
