...AND pass the play calling to someone else OTHER the NEW Big Tub-of-Goo....Tom Cable.

I had on of my buddies tell me that after the Denver game, he was with abig group of tailgaters and JaMarcus Russell drove by and yelled some uncalled for sh** to a bunch of fans. This was confirmed by a report in the Bleacher Report the other day.....

..F*** Him!!!:rant::rant::mad::mad:

After the Bronco game some tailgaters, who were parked by the road where the players come and go, said this was what they saw:

"Our tailgate happens next to the road the players drive in and out of the stadium. After the dismal game, some of the boys went back to do a bit more tailgating and eat...a white Rolls Royce is leaving the stadium with JaMarcus Russell driving...fans know this and are booing...the passenger side window rolls down and with JaMarcus driving one of his home boys on the passenger side yells out 'Well at least we are eating good, you guys are still broke'...and JaMarcus visibly chuckles in the driver's seat..."

Raider Nation has supported Russell, but it became crystal clear last Sunday that he hasn't been doing anything to improve his game.

I have had enough, this year was looking promising, ESPECIALLY after last years finish....

Fire Cable! Hire Mangini! Bring back Ryan as DC! Sign Pacman! :D:D:D

Mangini is terrible!! I am TRULLY hoping there is some truth to the rumor I heard from my Chicago media buddies....

...Tuna is LEAVING Miami when the season is over and is very close to Tuna...The other once circulating is John Madden....again....

MAYBE...oh I won't say it...:shh:shh:shh

wow salsa. you already knew i never really liked JR and you're beginning to see why more and more each week. i think he has a very strong arm but that's it. i never liked the guy but i was hoping to be wrong about him. i've always felt the NFL is better when teams like the raiders are doing well. there's still a chance many of us are wrong about JR but only time will tell. the season is still young so hang in there :)

these were the same rumors from last year.i'll say the same thing i said last season, the tuna thing is still not happening and the madden idea might happen but it depends how different it is to work for al now than how it was back when john was the coach.

Madden is not going to coach.

They have to play him...financially they are obligated. They must find out beyond in doubts if he can play...good investments can take time to mature...stay the course and hold on to your barf bag in the mean time....but there is hope.....watch and read.....

It's too soon to bury Russell, though he's digging his own hole

This hasn't really meant anything to the Raiders when it comes to salaries in years. Principle is > skill or common sense... see also Deangelo Hall (huge contract, and released) and Javon Walker (huge contract, not playing... says himself he's 100%, Cable says he isnt.... if they need anything right now its a sure handed receiver)

Armwise,I think JaMarcus Russell, from what little I've seen of him, reminds me of Doug Williams. When Doug was with the Bucs,he seemed to sling the ball very far,but nobody in the area to catch it. Al Davis has always wanted a QB who could throw the bomb. That goes from Darrel Lamonica(God,I hope I spelled that name right),Kenny Stabler,to Jim Plunkett(even George Blanda). Sorry,I can't name any Raider QB after those three(four including Blanda).
Maybe Davis will sign Usain Bolt(again,I hope I spelled that right) to be a WR for them & hope he'll learn how to catch a football.

I understand, but just don't see it happening.

I REALLY wish Parcells would have gone to Detroit. :):):)
i don't see it either.especially when he wants to do a little more here before he leaves. ;) i think we'll have him for one more season and that's it.you can have him for the 2011 season :D

Right now, Parcell's and the new ownership really do not get along. Remember, Parcell gets paid REGARDLESS of whether he finish the season or not.
