Ok pertinent question regarding OTA and Equipment

If in 3 days Rainbow 1 stops transmitting, can I still view OTA? If the boxes are also deactivated, how can I still get my OTA, local cable here doesn't have much to offer for HD and I really don't want to mess with D* or E*, if I have to Ill just watch OTA HD if I can figure out how to do it sans Motorola box.

There are OTA tuners available on Ebay.
You can also use a MyHD card in a PC, which will give you HD+DVR functions as well

Try this.

Pull the card out of your box, see if you can get OTA.

My TV is supposed to have an HD Tuner already although I'm pretty sure it cannot power the OTA antenna, I guess I'm going to have to come up with some way of keeping the diplexer and finding a power source for the antenna?
