I have only three predictions this year:

1. Ohio State will crush Michigan with the drunken, sleeping, porn-surfing Coach Rich Rodriguez in the cockpit. Final score: Ohio State 52 - Michigan 13

2. Rich Rodriguez will look like a "Deer in Headlights" once again at the post-game press conference. I predict that tears will flow!

3. The embarrasing loss and press conference will prompt a special meeting of the Board of Directors and Coach Rod will be fired by Wednesday.

Ok, so perhaps ending the failed Rich Rodriguez experiment will be the one bright-spot this season as Michigan begins the healing process. It took Coach Rod less than a season to destroy Michigan's 40 straight winning seasons and 33-straight bowl appearances...wonder how many decades it will take to flush Coach Rod fror our collective memories? Ugh!

The true blue in me keeps saying "it can't really be this bad", but my head keeps telling me otherwise.

Either OSU comes out first half and rips us apart and it's not even close.

Or, in typically Rich Rod michigan team fashion, they keep it close until 2nd half , fail to make any adjustments. Yells at his kids how they suck, makes them feel like sh*t and loses the game. Crys after game, says some BS about this or that and looks even worse then ever.

It can't really be this bad.

How can we give this guy another year after losing another year and missing another bowl game. A school like Michigan can't keep losing millions on bowls games like this, and expect to compete. Football is what funds things. Period.

No, it won't be this bad.

Yep, my heart keeps pulling for the boys in Maize & Blue, but my head says we're going to take an ugly beating. After today's 45-24 drubbing to Wisconsin, I don't see us staying within 35-points of OSU...expecially considering their performance in the last four games:

Penn State 35-10 Loss
Illinois 38-13 Loss
Purdue 38-36 Loss
Wisconsin 45-24 Loss

Additionally, the Michigan players have to be feeling down & dejected and have little faith in its leadership. I get the impression we'll see the Catholics versus the hungry Lions next Saturday.

In defense of the team up North, I don't think OSU will "blow you out." That's not our game. Don't get me wrong, we'll still win, but it won't be by a large margin. We'll stick to the Jim Tressel plan of success: run the ball, limit penalties, move the chains, limit turnovers, manage the clock and play solid defense. Some criticize Tressel ball, but the bottom line is this: The team has been one of the most consistently good teams since he's taken over. After all, what is this, our 5th straight Big 10 title? Can any other team in any other conference claim that?

Oh come on...you're just hoping it's not a blow-out in order to keep Coach Rod gainfully employed at Michigan another year! :D

Honestly, it doesn't seem to matter who the coach at Michigan is, because The Vest seems to own all of them! In 8 hears as head coach, Jim Tressel is 7-1 against Michigan. (6-1 against Lloyd and 1-0 against Rich-Rod).

That's true, but there 24-20 feels a lot different than 44-10. If you ask my opinion, the Buckeyes should have kept Cooper!!!

I think the post above have nailed it.
I don't expect a blow out, thats not the way Tressel plays.
I expect them to win.
I haven't seen a line for the game yet.

Alabama had 5 straight (71-75) with a couple of other 4 straight championships.
Southern Cal had 7 straight in the Pac 10 (03-08)
Florida St. had 9 straight in the ACC (92-00)

I predict nobody outside the rooting interests of Ohio State and Michigan will give a rat's fanny about this game, but ABC will hype it like it's the Game of the Year anyway.

I have to say Ohio State should win this game. It won't be easy but they have what it takes to hold off Michigan one more year.

The center of the college football world is Michigan Football. There can only be one all-time winningest football program in college football history...and nobody cares about any other team - they are all equally unimportant. ;)

Just like the NHL consists of the Red Wings and everyone else... :)

According to ESPN's Steven A. Smith, Allen Iverson to retire...

Yankee PA announcer Bob Sheppard to retire
