That's a little low Jimbo...unless you're picking the half-time score.
I hope your right, but Jim doesn't like to run up the score.
Ya know........ you have to " Throw the records out the window when these two teams meet" .....
That's a little low Jimbo...unless you're picking the half-time score.
I'm not a fan of traditional games/series changing dates.
HD mentioned how tOSU/Big Blue is changing dates- from before to after Turkey Day.
Personally, some other switches dissapoint me.
Two of the traditional day-after-Thanksgiving games- LSU/Arkansas and Texas/Texas A&M- have been moved to different days.
For me, Thanksgiving and the day after used to be set in stone- Cowboys and Lions on Turkey Day, Nebraska/Colorado, LSU/Arkansas, and Texas/Texas A&M the next day.
Now, the NFL has a third Turkey Day game and only Nebraska/Colorado is still on the day after.
Also, Army/Navy will be the week after the conference title games- it'll be by itself on December 12th.
Wasn't Michigan the only one that dropped (from 2 to 3, with USC jumping over them)? USC lost a couple weeks later, and all their #2 votes switched to Florida. Michigan didn't lose any votes or even their spot in the poll, but they didn't gain any votes. So Florida leaped them into the #2 slot when USC fell.A few years back you have a very good OSU / Mich game 41-39 or something like that and everyone was talking about it and then because that was the last game and the others had games later, everyone forgot about the Big Ten game and they dropped in the polls.
“On behalf of the entire Buckeye football family, we send our love, thoughts and prayers to the Spielman family. Stefanie has inspired the entire Buckeye nation and Columbus community with her courage and strength. We will miss her and will always remember the lessons we learned from her. She will always be a special Buckeye.”
The center of the college football world is Michigan Football. There can only be one all-time winningest football program in college football history...and nobody cares about any other team - they are all equally unimportant.
Just like the NHL consists of the Red Wings and everyone else...
I am sad to report that last night, Buckeye alumn, Chris Spielman lost his wife to cancer.
I think OSU FB coach Jim Tressel made the best remarks about Stefanie Spielman after her long battle with cancer:
RIP Stefanie. Thoughts and Prayers with the Spielman family.

I REALLY like the Buckeyes chances in this game.
Pryor's playing better, not turning the ball over, and the running game has improved recently- given how good Beanie Wells was, I felt this would be a tough task.
Also, take the Michigan defense.... please.
HD or Sandra would look like the second coming of Eddie George running against the Big Blue's so-called defense.
OK, who had that signature showing an example of crazy talk? Perhaps it's time for a replacement.Maybe for 364 days of the year, but on the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving, we all know where the TRUE center of the college football world resides.
O-H-
I-O!!!!!!!

Yep, I suppose I too would be pumped if my team were going to crush their opponent like a woman with big feet stepping into a vat of grapes.Oh come on. If you were in my shoes you'd be pumped too.
Oh how I can't wait! I'll be among a mass of Buckeye fans at the local bar watching on a 50 foot (yes, 50 foot, not inches) diagonal HD projection screen. Oh yes, I can hardly wait!

And didn't both the BCS Game in Arizona and the Rose Bowl validate that switch in rankings between Michigan and Florida?
