Ohio State vs Michigan: Predictions?

How old is that article?

You're dismissing Army-Navy because the teams arn't any good. Guess what, neither is Michigan.

For your 1 opinion collum, I can give you several more, all with different teams as the top rivalry.

LAMO! Even this link you provided with the list of 10 rivalries was put to a vote. The people even voted OSU/Michigan as the best rivalry!

Look for yourself. The people have spoken whether you like it or not....

And both teams got crushed in their bowl games.
But if we're talking #1 vs #2 to determine who goes to the MNC. Alabama-Florida has that 2 years running.

I don't have selective memory, and I do acknowledge that it's a great rivalry, but there are others that are just as good, and more important in their areas of the country.

Just as you don't care about Auburn-Alabama, neither do people in the Southeast care about Michigan-Ohio St.

And for tv viewers, expect the number to drop when the game is put head to head against all the other rivalries.

You're getting off-topic now. The latest discussion has us talking about rivalries. As much as you like getting in your little digs at OSU's Bowl records, you'll have to save that for another day.

Long story short:

Ohio State/Michigan is a legendary rivalry.

Buckeyes kicked butt in this year's matchup.

Sweater Vest still owns Michigan.

Your tie to the school is a relative going there.

I have relative's going there too. Plus I like in the state, so proximity counts for something too.

Well it was a while ago for my relative, but I was there. I don't remember a lot about the trip. We stayed over night in Pennsylvania, I think that was my first time in a hotel. It was near Hershey and we saw all the signs for the amusement park, but we couldn't go!

The only thing I remember about the campus is being in incredible traffic on the way to the stadium. Someone was walking to the stadium, I think he was in cap and gown, and he was wearing sandals.

We passed him a few times and he walked right past us a few times too while we were stopped in traffic, and my brothers who are closer to my age and me kept telling my dad the sandals guy was beating us to the stadium. My dad loved those updates! I think my dad's temperature was higher than the car's temperature...

And I remember being in the stadium. What an amazining feeling.

Yes. As an Cleveland and Ohio State fan it's not as exciting to you, but it is to Yankee/Red Sox fans. The fans in the stadium are just as intense all 19 games. Read above.

Sandra

There is a lot more than just the fans that make a rivalry. That is the main difference. In pros it is pretty much the fans that make it one and in collage there is true hate and dislike from the fans, players and coaching staff.

Have you ever been to the Horseshoe? Even for an out of conference game? I was at a OSU vs. Marshall game back in 2004 and the crowd, all 107k+ of us were screaming, singing and electric in every sense for the ENTIRE game. Best professional sports experience I've ever had and I go to A LOT of live sporting events. I could only imagine what it would be like for an OSU vs. Michigan game. Probably OSU vs. Marshall x infinity!

Glad to hear you finally got electricity down there in Ohio. Welcome to the 19th century.:D

According to ESPN's Steven A. Smith, Allen Iverson to retire...

Yankee PA announcer Bob Sheppard to retire
