Unless you anticipate getting two or more UHD TVs at once, I'd suggest a Joey 2. The Hopper 3 itself will cover your first UHD TV.So if I get a H3 then what Joey should I go with if I don't have a 4K tv yet ?

If A (Hopper 3) must have B (DPZ) and B (DPZ) is incompatible with C (Super Joey) then A (Hopper 3) is incompatible with C (Super Joey).Again not accurate. The Super Joey is not compatable with the DP ZLNB technology which the Hybrid LNB uses.
I'd be surprised if the software is in the Hopper 3 to communicate with a Super Joey.
Man you really have no clue of what your talking about.
Correct. The LNB does work with a Super Joey though. It just has to be with a HWS. It's just once a Hopper 3 is put in the system the LNB can't handle a Super Joey. Am I understanding this correctly?

Do you like hearing yourself talk?
You can get a 4K Joey, but they will cost you $50 extra.
BTW I noticed on another site they keep saying that in order to upgrade to a Hopper 3 you need a 4K Television. This is NOT true at all. Just s=goes to show the other site has no clue what they are talking about.
All I can say is if they are going to make me give up my H1s & H2s they better let me get 3 4k Joeys.Correct same monthly cost as a regular Joey. Now I dont know if they will let you have 3 4K Joeys but you can always try.

From what I understand PIP will not be working on the 4K Joey at release time, but will in a future update.I think it's worth it for the PIP/SWAP feature. Especially if it is only $7 a month and replacing a 2nd Hopper.
Hmmm... We've heard that before! From what I understand PIP will not be working on the 4K Joey at release time, but will in a future update.
Kind of makes you wonder what they've been doing for a year. From what I understand PIP will not be working on the 4K Joey at release time, but will in a future update.
