Odd new symbols in guide...

I think I've figured out why the icon shows up. PTAT is set to start recording 1 minute early, which means that a timer is going to fire in the 30 minute block before primetime. That's why it shows up when it does. Now as to why it shows up on one channel or another seemingly randomly, I have no clue.

That might be why mine didn't show back up after getting the HwS, I'm not sure if PTAT is setup to fire early or not.

Never the less, it's still a bug in the UI of the hopper, if you set any other show to record and you set it to start early, it doesn't place the icon on the show right before the one you want to record.

The Dish Software team is investigating the issue.

Not quite right. First, if you read the entire thread or explore for yourself you'll find there is no conflict rather, it only appears to be. Secondly, the indicated program is never recorded. Thirdly, the indication is fluid in that it will move to each network in alphabetical order as indicated networks are disabled individually in PTAT. And last, no such "ghost" conflict was present using PTAT prior to the S234 software.

This is a glitch that needs to be resolved in order that the affected program can be scheduled for recording because as of now, it cannot.

You may disagree, and it may be considered a bug blocking an easily scheduled recording, but it is a symbol showing which tuner (by color) that PTAT is going to fire at the end of that show. It appears that it will show up in the guide on the first local in order on the guide used by PTAT. (I don't know if the same applies if you change the guide order from the default.)

I removed ABC from the PTAT options and the icon moved to CBS. I removed CBS and expected the symbol to move to FOX but with ABC and CBS not recording via PTAT, the symbol disappeared completely and did not appear on FOX or NBC.

The problem is that new shows on ABC only offer the “daily Schedule” or “more Info” options while the other networks are offering the record options. So this is def some sort of bug or discrepancy.
