Anyone heard when Dish might get OLN back?
I missed the local hockey team last night because the game was only on OLN.
(and a only slightly strange related note, I did a search of "OLN" and came up empty, I know this was a topic a month or so ago.)

oh yeah, I watch them as much as fox reality that they added. So it's a wash I guess. I never watched OLN and have yet to watch the 3 channels they added.

I went to my mom's to see if I could see the game Monday (Wild/Rangers). She has TW cable and it was blacked out too (alternate programming...not blacked out due to a local carrier carrying ti because FSN wasnt)

You can't seriously think that the price of AEP goes to pay the exact ammount of the subscriber fee for each channel in the package and that dish should change the price with each channel added or remove... sheesh...

Sorry, should have stated a little more clearly that I was being facetious. No need to jump all over me for it.

I was more making a remark on how Dish seems to raise the AEP more than other packages in recent years without raising the prices of the movie packs. So where did the extra increase for AEP come from when the 180 package went up $3 but AEP went up $4 (just making an example). I subscribe to the theory that AEP subsidizes the lower packages to keep price low.

One of the reasons I subscibe to the America's 180 package was for OLN. Dish pulled it without notice, and I feel like I'm paying an extra $10 for nothing.

Hopefully Dish will work something out to get OLN back.

If you want OLN anytime soon you need to switch to or add DirecTV or your local cable company. OLN HD coverage of NHL games is on D* channel 98 or INHD on cable.

Aside from the Tour de France, I *finally* found another reason to miss OLN this weekend... FIS World Cup Skiing. I can get my bobseld and skeleton on Speedvision or whatever they're calling it now... but damn it, I want to see Bode Miller crash in a controlled manner down mountains!

Oh well... hope they get things sorted out soon. Until then it's Tivo and the cable feed.

We'll get OLN back when they either add a few other channels and can slip it in, or announce fee increases and need to justify them. So we've got a few months, but we'll get it back eventually.

I have found out that the A1GP racing series is now on OLN. That would be the only reason for me to want it.
