Nyc Hd Locals?

what sat are the nyc hd locals and the washington, dc hd locals on and are they spot beam? also , what has the quality of the channels been?

I am sure they are on 61.5 and are not spotbeam. I will find out later today when I get my 622, barring no big problems.

While not NYC or DC, I have the Philly HD locals off of 61.5 - they are on TP 11 - and are NOT spotbeam.

Quality has been very good - usually get signal levels of around 96-97

DC local HD is definitely 61.5. Quality has gone in the crapper the last few days. Picture on all 4 networks has been extremely pixelated. It might be my ViP211 receiver, but I think it is probably an E* problem. I reported it to them this morning.

NYC HD LIL are on 61.5 and in MPEG2.

They may be mpeg2, but you need an mpeg4 receiver to view them.

I am considering a "move" back to PHL area. How does one tell if locals are on spot beam or CONUS? I would "move", if I knew for sure.

There are no spotbeams on 61.5.
