NXT rookies invading RAW

Drew Loses Big WWE Shot, Sheamus Avoids Same Trouble?, Barrett..Posted by Marc Middleton on June 29, 2010 at 6:10 PM • Comments (0)- Word is that WWE creative has been told not to expect Wade Barrett or Drew McIntyre back until after SummerSlam in August. It’s still possible they could be back sooner. This is bad news with Barrett being the leader of The Nexus stable and with the new report that McIntyre was scheduled to win the SmackDown briefcase at WWE’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view.A fan saw McIntyre in Scotland this weekend so apparently he’s back home also. There has been some speculation that WWE Champion Sheamus may get caught up in the same work visa situation but the feeling from one WWE source is that either WWE caught it on Sheamus’ end while missing it on Barrett & McIntyre’s end, or Sheamus was proactive in bringing the situation to WWE’s attention and they handled it without thinking about Drew or WadeUpdate On McIntyre & Barrett’s Work Visa Issues.WWE is hoping to have Wade Barrett back on television by next week’s Raw. They are however planning a “worst case scenario” in which creative was told to presume both McIntyre & Barrett would not be back until after Summerslam. It is still entirely possible they will be back sooner. An interesting note is that Sheamus was signed around the same time as Barrett & McIntyre, but sources within WWE believe that WWE caught it on time. This portion isn’t confirmed, so it is still possible that he could be next.Source: F4Wonline.com

BRYAN DANIELSON COMMENTS ON HIS WWE RELEASE; MENTIONS MORE THAN JUST THE 'TIE CHOKING' AS THE REASON HE WAS LET GO..By Buck Woodward on 2010-06-30 16:12:22
Well, it is what many of you have been waiting for.... Bryan Danielson has posted a blog on his official website, commenting on his WWE release. You can check it out at this link, and we have reprinted it below: “WWE has come to terms on the release of NXT first season rookie Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) as of today June 11, 2010. We wish Daniel Bryan the best in all future endeavors.”Posted by WWE.com....Since this statement was released I’ve been bombarded with messages asking me if it’s real, and by now I’m sure that most people know that it is.WWE is very serious about adhering to their PG guidelines, and apparently my actions during the NXT attack on John Cena, namely choking announcer Justin Roberts with his tie and spitting in Cena’s face, crossed the boundaries of what is considered “PG.” Perhaps the choking was too violent or perhaps the spit was too demeaning. I apologized for both immediately following the incident; but I would be a hypocrite if I apologized for putting everything I have into the attack. I would much rather have gone too far than to come up too short. As with anyone who gets fired from their job, especially when they feel its unjust, I am angry. Very angry. But I can’t fault WWE for how they handled my release. My contract contained a 90 day no-compete clause in the event I was let go, yet the WWE has graciously allowed me start wrestling again on any show that’s not taped for television or pay per view.So with the negatives there also come positives. Before I got signed by WWE last October, I worked hard to bring new fans to independent wrestling. But with most of us having little national exposure the only thing we could do was wrestle our hearts out and hope for word of mouth. Now that I’ve appeared on WWE television in front of millions of new fans, things are different. My goal is to garner as much interest in independent wrestling over the next 90 days as I possibly can. I hope that some of the people who enjoyed watching me wrestle on TV will give independent companies such as Evolve, Dragon Gate USA and Ring of Honor a chance. I think most of you would enjoy the intimacy between the fans and the wrestlers and the intensity of the action; if you ask the fans who went to the Chikara or AIW shows I was on this weekend, I’m sure 99% of them had a great time. So if you’ve never been to an independent show, go ahead and dip your toes in... you might find that the water is pretty nice.As far as what happens after 90 days, nobody knows. I’ve “heard” that TNA is interested. There are petitions going around to get me back into WWE and the last several weeks there have been fans chanting my names at their shows. People have even brought signs showing their support. And though most of the signs get taken away and though WWE may not be listening to your chants or petitions, I truly appreciate all the support over the last several weeks. It is both overwhelming and heartwarming. But regardless of what offers come in, I am in no rush to make any rash decisions. I enjoy my freedom as much as I enjoyed the benefits offered by being in WWE. My future, as usual, is uncertain. But I am enjoying my return to the independents. I’m hoping to see some of you there. You can visit Danielson's official website at The Official Website of Bryan Danielson.

I could really care less about Daniel being gone. The show is really starting to suck and as I've said in the past comment they need a few of the big players to return if even for one or two nights. Sure The Rock doesn't like Wrestling anymore, he could still get paid to make a appearance to help ratings. Stone Cold is another that just brings ratings up or fans to the seats after just mentioning he will be on the show!!

What about Jeff Hardy? Where has he been?

So many names of those that were bringing ratings and viewers to the seats that I'm unsure of what WWE is doing now.

When they moved Kelly Kelly to Smackdown they lost much of my wanting to watch RAW at all.

Jeff Hardy is in TNA...If you're talking about Matt Hardy he is on Smackdown. Was injured for a while (but the storyline was he got suspended by Vince via Drew McIntyre) but came back a week or so ago

I end up watching more of Smackdown than RAW latelly :)

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Drew McIntyre's visa issue has been resolved and he has been cleared to return to WWE TV. Additionally, it's being reported that Wade Barrett's visa issue has also been resolved, and he is expected back on WWE television next week.

WWE's Money In The Bank/SummerSlam Plans,Cena-Sheamus

» WWE creative is looking at having one of the two Money in the Bank winners cash their title shot by SummerSlam in August. This would be done so only one superstar would be carrying around a briefcase for the rest of the year.-- The TD Garden is advertising a John Cena vs. Sheamus steel cage match for the August 30th edition of WWE RAW. This is likely a dark match

"And thats the Bottom line because the GM said so"

Geez......

OHH HELL YEAH!!!!!! It would be a ratings boost for sure if its true and you know who is the GM! This PG rating for the show needs to go since its after 9pm anyway..time to step it up a bit.

If its not SC then I would expect some sort of joke that The Rock is the real GM since he wanted to be a guest host anyway and this would allow him to step in and do his thing for a while. Either one would be a major boost to the ratings that's for sure.

I was thinking the Rock as well, becouse he said a while ago he wanted to do something a bit more then a guest host but not wrestle. He would be a good talker for the group

I missed the end yesterday....major storms knocked out satellite for about a half hour

from the reports I didnt miss much ;)
