I just had my comcast digital cable installed about 2 weeks ago. and it worked fine for about a day then on every single channel i get this message. "One moment please... this channel will be available shortly." I had an appointment for a tech to come out and look at it, but then it healed itself, and for 4 days it worked flawlessly. now its back to error message.
i have been looking at my diagnostic screens for about a half hour now and am trying to figure out what is normal and what is screwed up. I have the DCT2000 cable box.
My d03 screen shows i have no carrier or PCR lock, and my SNR is fluctuating between 24 and 31 dB occasionally dropping to 0 dB
My d09 screen shows "Status: -" frequency is at 10.4 Mhz, Level is at 48, and IPPV ERROR.
any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
