No Service In Alltel/Verizon Switch

I did a search to see any info on this and couldn't find any . I live in southern lower MI along the state line. We have been Alltel customers since 2004 and have been satisfied with our service. We learned at a Verizon Service Center the other day that Verizon might not be picking up certain Alltel towers in our area meaning all the counties at the bottom of the state won't have coverage either. What can I do at this point? We have 4 lines(current Alltel cancelation fee $200.00 per line). If we don't now have service coverage can I get out of my contract? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike

More then likely they will sell those other towers off and divest them. They have done this many times before. If they can no longer service you they WILL NOT hold you to a contract nor will they charge you an early termination fee.

yes, they should just release you from the contracts if you cannot receive service due to a change by them.
