no audio on dsr-4800 receiver

have been playing around with dvb mode on my receiver today. can not get the audio to play on some dvb channels. The ones with Musicam play fine. Straight mpeg audio is nothing. Can not add audio pids and have tried different settings in the audio area. Trying to get the news channel France24 on G23. Picture is great. Also get tone on color bars same freq. Any ideas?

sadly its a known issue. I posted it back 2 years ago with my 7150 (pretty much same unit)

Thanks, I appreciate your quick response. Not the answere I'd hoped for, but at least I can stop chasing the problem. Pretty limited with no s2 anyway.

I mainly use mine to get DCII stuff and 4:2:2 (the 7150 can decode 4:2:2)

Yeah its frustrating as heck to log a channel only to have no audio

Has anyone tried to see if the audio comes thru on the ASI out?

Oh, I was under the impression the 7150 couldn't decode 4:2:2 without additional hardware such as a hdd-200 or a hdd-1000.

7150 decodes 4:2:2 fine as is
Watch a couple Murray State basketball games last year from the "entertainment and sports network 3" on it (when they were trying to go undefeated)

The 7150 will do 4:2:2; The 7100 will not.
