The Pirates sweep the Marlins, but in game 2 of the series they lose their best hitter for 10 weeks. Bucs can't win for losing.

Ryan Doumit, their starting catcher. Snapped something in his wrist while swinging the bat. Kept playing for another 3 innings, then noticed swelling in the locker room after. Will undergo surgery and be out for 10 weeks.
I'll be unloading either Pudge Rodriquez OR Dioner Navarro as soon as I get Joe Mauer off the disabled list. Are you interested in either one?

All I've done is politley invite fans to tune into the game as something was happening. I said nothing that can be pinned on me...unlike these Brewer's announcers!!!!

BTW, BillD mentioned earlier that he has sent messages in the past when something like thi is going on to alert us baseball fans in case we care to tune in. All without saying anything about what it REALLY is. I decidee to follow thru today. I trust I offeneded no one.
