PROGRAMMING UPDATE
NHL NETWORK SD

Effective today, September 10, 2008, by 5 p.m. ET, DISH Network will launch NHL Network SD into America’s Everything Package and the MultiSport Package at the 110° and 72.7° orbital locations. This service will be available on channel 403.

In addition to the offering in America’s Everything Package and the MultiSport Package, this service will be available as part of the NHL Center Ice package at channel 625 (also at the 110° and 72.7° orbital locations).

The updated information regarding the station is:

Station: NHLN
DISH Network Channel: 403
Satellite: 110/72.7
Packages: America’s Everything Package
MultiSport

Station: NHLN
DISH Network Channel: 625
Satellite: 110/72.7
Packages: NHL Center Ice

If you have HD you get the HD version but you cannot get it on other SD receivers you have. Just the opposite of every other channel that has both SD and HD versions. Do you think they will change who gets the HD version to only those with AEP or Multi-Sports Pack?

That's the thing. If one has AT250 + HD, they will get NHL Network in HD. But if they have standard receivers, they still won't get it on those receivers.

This sucks. I was happy when I seen they uplinked the SD version. Now i'm just pissed. Give it to the AT250 people. I don't want to upgrade to HD just yet just to get one channel I can't get in SD AT250. Don't want to get Center ICE.
