NHL Network coming to Dish in HD only

I want to credit eddieras & plumfam4 for this find. I did not see it discussed anywhere in the HD area yet.

Too bad for anyone with CI and no HD package.

Great News

Well that is great news for us that have the CI Package and HD, having been waiting for what seems forever.

Lots of people will complain about it being HD only, but I see it as a great way to get some more people migrated over to the mpeg4 platform so they can begin the process of switching more channels to mpeg4.

It's a win, win if you're an HD cusomer.

thats great news.......the anticipated date is Wednesday Oct 17 which is the day most uplinking is done. I was hoping for this Wednesday but I can wait another week

So are all the games on NHL Network in HD? There is one night where I saw 2 games on at the same time. NHL network alternate anyone?

Unless they change the usual policy and plop it on a 110 or 119 conus beam somehow, it will more than likely be mirrored on 61.5.

thanks for that... is there any reason for me to be concerned about not getting LOS on the 129 going forward- or does dish always mirror on the 61.5? i don't want to be shut out for future channels....
