This is why they make the Hopper Plus.I understand that but any of those would be far more cumbersome than selecting an app on the H3 like can be done for Netflix or YouTube. Ease of use you know not counting the cost of the extra device.

I don't find the H3's streaming intolerable. After using Roku and Fire Stick, the H3 is intolerably slow for streaming.
Streaming down at 650 Mbps solid ain't slow.S L O W
It’s not the streaming part that is slow, it’s the getting it started that is slow.Streaming down at 650 Mbps solid ain't slow.

I think this depends upon the source. I've been watching a lot of Hallmark Channel programs this Christmas and it starts up faster (less than 5 secs) than I ever remember before. Incidentally, I'm still on H367. Is there something wrong with 368?It’s not the streaming part that is slow, it’s the getting it started that is slow.
I am unable to detect much if any difference. What on demand has this issue? And movement thru the video.
Yeah, On Demand is not really an issue but the apps can be.Mostly YT. On the H3, it takes longer to start up YT, longer to scroll thru possibilities, longer to get a selection started. IIRC, even hitting ff/skip was slower. Might try again later.
