Canadian feeds this year appear to be in HD now but MSG broadcast teams seem to be using the other team’s feed for both HD and SD. It will be interesting to see what happens when the Sabres/Islanders/Rangers play each other.

TSN feed is being used on both NY Rangers channels and although I can't see Sabres/Penguins because I'm in Buffalo, I suspect the Penguins feed is on the Sabres channels.

Devils play Sabres on Saturday so I guess we'll have the answer about MSG then.

With getting all the Canadian sports channels in HD, that's a big upgrade and may help if RSN disputes affect showing games on Center Ice on DISH.

The Canadian feeds in HD was a long time coming. Even though I'm not a fan of a Canadian team, I much prefer their broadcasts to most of the RSN's, save a few.

Are you in NJ or NY? I can get the Sabres/Devils game on 475-12 with my VT service address, so it's not the Fox dispute that's blacking it out for you on CI. I'm watching the Fox Detroit Center Ice feed of the Redwings/Predators game on 475-4 right now.

Last Night MSG was used for two games, but the Sabers and Devils game was in SD on the supposed HD channels. The Rangers and Senators game was in HD. I started the night at my in laws' house doing laundry (dryer is broken), and they have Comcast. I didn't get home until almost third period in the Canadiens and Maple Leafs game. Damn Canadiens. If there is any team I despise more than the Yankees, it's the Canadiens. Boston sports people would know what I'm talking about.

And this is why I've resisted subscribing to to CI all these years. I don't feel like I should be forced to watch game in SD when I'm paying to watch them. Well, that and the Sabre's haven't been worth paying to see - which looks like may be well worth it this year! NFL Ticket certainly isn't in SD. The fact that it was a Sabre's Home Opener game with Ric Jeannerett doing the play by play just made it worse

As in the past, most games are in SD on Center Ice.

Even though it seems in the guide that we have a choice between the home and away feeds, it doesn’t seem to be the case.

I’m watching Islanders/ Jets and both the Islanders and Jets channels are using the Jets feed.
