Well, things were going fine, until TB broke the 2-2 tie and then everything fell apart. And then we get a fight near the end of the game that really wasn't worth it.

Can the Wings win at home in the next 2 games?

Can they ... YES.

You have to remember, in the NHL, the Home Ice usually means alot. (not always, but very often).

There have been plenty of times a team goes down 2-0 in the series and comes out at home and it looks like a whole different team.

Now, will that happen with the Wings, we can hope so, but I don't see it, these Wings never showed the ability to play a whole game all year except for the last Philly game.

Too many unforced Turn Overs and a whole lot of OPEN ice for the Lightning players.
Wings have played the other side, NO Room to move, Lightning have been on them ever step of the way.

CAN the Wings do it, yes, will they ? I don't expect it, but then I didn't see them making the run they made a few years back to the Finals either.

Wings come into Game 3 trailing 2-0, going home.

Tonights game was Night and Day different from Tampa winning all the face offs and both games in TB.

Wings won some face offs, forechecked all night and made the game played in Tampa's end instead of thier own.
Detroit did not look like Tampa was way faster than the Wings, tonight.

Should be a good game 4 on Tuesday.

Tampa made Major adjustments and are dominating the Wings in game 4, almost half way thru 2nd period .... it's only 1-0 Tampa, everything other than the scoreboard Tampa is outplaying them badly.

WTH, I turned the Tigers on for a bit, Saw Cabrera come thru and knock in 2 runs...
Eventually turned the Wings back on at Intermission and saw it was tied.

Tampa's Power Play scored all 3 of thier goals and win 3-2

Young goalie thats played great and moves the puck very well, basically whiffed on a pass and it ends up in his net.

I thought they played a very good game tonight, they couldn't score, of course thats been a Wings playoff problem for many years now.

Mrazek played great, I don't blame him at all.

Also I look for Zetterberg to be gone in a few more years, he came in the year after Pavel.

Now move on and continue playing well in the next rounds and win the Cup.
Too many time, a team that beats the Wings will get in the next round and look entirely different and lose in the next round. (I know, TB continued on and made the finals last year).

I would like to see yet another Cup for the Wings Captain, Steve Yzerman !

Ozzie had a team of All Stars playing ...
A lot of goalies fire the puck up the boards and it ends up going to the opposition... never understand when they don't KNOW who it's going to.

Now I know what I like about the Playoffs after the 1st round ...in the first round Anything can happen ...
Been watching the Pens and Lightning when I can .... they just mentioned that TB had thier 1st PP coming up,1/2 way thru period 2.
They also said that TB was 2 for 8 in the series, Can that be true, into game 5, a team only having 8 PP opportunities ?

The officials let the games be played in the 2nd and further rounds.
