On this list of Browns QB's :
1. Who was the Best Browns QB ????
2. Who was the best QB over thier Career ???

Remember, Most of these played elsewhere as well.

I'm kinda shocked having Sanders picture on this ... he's a LONG way from Starting this year.

Looking at the list above Cleveland quarterbacks, I have to think that Cleveland must have a position who is in charge of finding the absolute worst pic in the draft to draft quarterback are the worst trade to make to acquire a quarterback who has absolutely no potential. You look at the top of the list, Tim Crouch, who could ever forget him, was the number one pick that year. He was stunning, wasn't he? Down through the list it looks like Cleveland has been fishing for sewer Bass Time after Time. After all these years, the only thing surprised me about Cleveland is that they have fans. I am sure that as I have family that are die hard Brown's fans.
As a reminder, Couch is the second best QB in this Brown's franchise history. He was beaten to a pulp by defenses.

I would go Baker Mayfield, Joe Flacco, Jeff Garcia ...

Deshone Kizer is a Local kid
Bruce Gradkowski is not Local, but he Stared for the Local Toledo Rockets ...

I probably would take Gradkowski next.

Now these are Career wise ... not just Browns.
Bernie Kosar fit in there anywhere?

Flacco played less than one season.

Jeff Garcia, are you kidding? 3-10?

Sure, the Browns have had good runs of 6 to 8 games with QBs, but for entire seasons? Not so much.

I'm asking for the Browns. Couch is the second best. Heck, he is the only one to be the primary starter for three or more seasons, other than Mayfield. In the third season he was 7-9, fourth 8-6.

He didn't have a great career, but he was beat near to death, 56 sacks in season 1, 51 sacks in season 3, after getting knocked out of season 2. It helped him develop quite the painkiller addiction. He doesn't really get the respect he deserves, but I've learned to expect this with Cleveland Browns fans.

Yes... thank you. And as everyone knows, that team (franchise) is currently in Baltimore.
It depends on how you look at it…

People also ask:
Are the Baltimore Ravens the old Cleveland Browns?

No, the Baltimore Ravens are not the original Cleveland Browns. The Baltimore Ravens are an expansion team that was formed in 1996 when Cleveland Browns owner Art Modell relocated his team to Baltimore. As part of the agreement, the city of Cleveland was given the rights to the Browns' name, history, and colors, and a new Browns team was established in 1999. The Ravens, therefore, are a new franchise with a different identity than the Browns.

My Post was for the Players Career, not just the Browns ... as I posted at the bottom of the original post.

The Players I mentioned ALL had better Careers that Tim Couch ...
Couch was OK, no better than most of the ones coming around these days.

Remember, with QB (and others) it ALL depends on WHO you end up playing for.
If you manage to go to a Good to Great team, your Career will be Much better ....

Edit:
There are QB's that make the team better, most of them end up with Long and Very good careers.

Remember, Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady wouldn't be themselves had they went to the Browns. 😞

Fwiw, I'm NOT a Browns fan.
