NFL 2013 Season

I admit that I would have been pissed if the same DPI call went against the Patriots yesterday. But I had no doubt the Pats were gonna score when they recovered that onsides kick with a minute left. If anything, that penalty was a gift to the Browns giving them more time to get in FG range against a bad Patriots defense. :D

BTW, where was the indignation when two far more egregious calls went against the Patriots and cost them two games (Jets and Panthers)? Other than Hart, Kraven and myself, there was nothing but crickets in here!

The PI was BS. But, on Cleveland's 1st drive the Pats should've had a defensive touchdown if not for an inadvertent whistle. ( I'm assuming it was blown dead, because the dummy never gave an explanation)

oh forgot to mention when Jacoby Jones returned the kickoff for Baltimore (the 3rd to last TD in the game) Chris Myers said what we figured he would....

"The Vikings were looking for Mike Tomlin to help on that kickoff"

Did they say WHAT draft pick it would be ?

Nah it's like you said before Jim, seems like they will wait till the end of the season. Hopefully you guys don't win that many more games so Goodell reconsiders this idea.

At this point, I think with yesterdays loss, a playoff spot, even the last one is out of question.

No Tailgating at Super Bowl

Super Bowl XLVIII is going to have a much different feel to it than Super Bowls past. First and foremost, the game is being held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey — outdoors and in cold weather. In the Super Bowl’s 47-year history, a game has never been held outdoors in a cold climate. But don’t worry — fans aren’t going to freeze while tailgating. That’s because tailgating won’t be allowed.

Hey! Shouldn't it be my choice whether I want to freeze to death or not?

I saw that too ...

Do they allow tailgating there now for the games that are played ?

If so, then they should allow them for the Super Bowl.

"In other words, feel free to stand next to your car in 20-degree weather and eat a Lunchables."

:facepalm

I want to see the guy that pulls up in his pickup and proceeds to "tailgate" in the bed of his truck, in his parking spot complete with a lawn chair and grill. :D:p

IMO, this Bears team with Forte, Jeffery, Marshall, Bennett, etc. has as many weapons as any team in the NFL.

Boy did N.E. get lucky today to beat the Browns.

A ticky tack PI call in the endzone gives them a 1st and goal they score then get the on side kick.

And to think, NO Snow there, but everywhere else in the area.

Watching the game from my sick bed... the entire game was filled with bad calls from the refs. Its about time something went
the Pats way.

My brother-in-law was at the game(season ticket holder since 1979) and doesn't give a ratz a$$ what anyone says, but "it's f-ing crazy to be out in that weather for a game". LOL! He sent me a text that read...."Bear weather my a$$! They hibernate in this $h17..." LOL! I could not stop laughing as I went outside and turned on the Christmas lights in beautiful 72 degree weather....

The phantom DPI call in the end zone was worse....

Worse call or not. There was 1 minute left and Brady had the ball at the 40...
Besides the refs dropped too many bad calls all day. How many PI's against the Pats that werent called?
Browns fumbled on their opening drive and kept the ball.

Funny how sport shows just show the "bad calls" at the end of the game but not the 10 or so during the game.

Hate to say it but,wtg Bears!:D Ditka had em fired up!

Gronk done for the year.No surprise there.
