timmy needs to accept the fact that at best he may be a good TE in the NFL. before the release there were teams interested in making a trade with the jets as long as he agreed to be open to the idea of playing TE. he said NO, there is your end result.

The general manager of the Montreal Alouettes, the team which holds the rights to Tim Tebow North of the border, said he'd welcome the former Jets backup.

Actually,knowing that the CFL uses their back-up QB's to get first downs on short yardage & the defensive line has to line up 1 yard apart from the offensive line instead of nose to nose like the NFL does,would allow for Tebow do do more than he did with the Jets. Also,Calvillo isn't the worst QB to sit behind.

I seriously doubt Jax.will bring in Tebow.The new coach Gus Bradley,wants nothing to do with him.

I had read an article a few weeks ago,some QB coach/guru,said he fixed Tebow's throwing mechanics.Was basically a non sport news item.I admire Tebow and his passion but,I'm afraid his days in the NFL are over,at least for now.

Since the CFL's season starts in July,he can go to the Alouettes training camp & then if an NFL team shows interest,just pull out of the Alouettes training camp & report to whichever NFL teams shows interest & signs him. This is when it's a shame that the NFL's European Spring league doesn't exist anymore,because he could have been sent there to develop.

The Omaha Beef have a job waiting for Tim Tebow if he wants it -- and the Nebraska indoor football team will even pay him $75 a game.

A day after Tebow was cut by the New York Jets, the Beef called the office of Tebow agent Jimmy Sexton to offer a standard player contract.

Beef assistant general manager Andrew Mather said Tuesday that he doesn't expect to hear back, but he thought it was worth asking.

The Beef's current quarterback, James McNear, has led the team to a 5-1 start. He's completing 70 percent of his passes and has thrown for 21 touchdowns against just two interceptions.

McNear is anything but insulted by the Beef's wooing of Tebow.

"I think Tim can learn a lot from me," McNear said.

J**** C****! This was over what the span of 2 months? The guy should have bit his tongue, stuffed his ego and kissed a lot of @$$es during the combine, workouts, interviews and visits.

In a time where a lot of people are struggling, this clown's attitude cost him millions.

Definetely deserves to be a Jet.

The CFL has produced some good NFL qualiber QBs. Tebow would definetely benefit by playing w/ Calvillo. Unfortunately, Marc Trestman is gone... a genuine Qb coach would turned Gannon's career around. Play 1-3 seasons in the CFL and come back.
