Miami's red-zone defense is the only reason they're not getting run out of the building- 4 field goals and a kick return TD.

This could have been 35-7 if the Bills could have stepped on their throats inside the 20.

For the love of god, DON'T blow this game.

Well this does not bode well for Sunday vs a suddenly hot Saints team.

It’s not shocking that Oakland running back Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson are not practicing. They both suffered high-ankle sprains in Week 9 and they missed Week 10. High-ankle sprains are difficult to come back from and they often can take three to four weeks to recover.

Oakland defensive tackle Richard Seymour is also not practicing because of a hamstring problem that kept him out in Week 10. Starting safeties Tyvon Branch (neck) and Matt Giordano (concussion) are not practicing Wednesday, either. This, of course, can be a problem.

Meanwhile, the Raiders signed linebacker Omar Gaither. He has 40 starts with the Eagles and Panthers. He should be a backup in Oakland. To make room for Gaither, linebacker Travis Goethel was put on injured reserve with a knee injury. The Raiders worked out some other linebackers Tuesday, including veteran Scott McKillop.

What's the record for consecutive home wins over an opponent? I don't know the answer, but it has to be the Dolphins over the Pats in Miami. I think the streak started in 1966, and ended when the Pats defeated the Dolphins in the 1985-86 AFCCG at the Orange Bowl.

The Patriots have currently won 12 in a row at home against the Bills (including all 11 at Gillette Stadium).

Buffalo also had major Orange Bowl woes against Miami dating back to 1966, though our first win came a few years earlier (1983) and was a regular-season game rather than an AFC Championsihp Game.

That's amazing how two NFL teams went an entire decade- the 70s- without combining for 1 Miami road win!

The Pats' streak was 18 straight losses- Buffalo's was 15 losses and a tie.

THE DOLPHINS ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!!!!

Expect a high scoring game between the Raiders and the Saints. Some quick stats:

Both Palmer and Brees have completed 230 passes this season, and both have thrown nine interceptions. Brees has been sacked 16 times to Palmer’s 17 times. Brees also has a completion percentage of 61.5 to Palmer’s 61.3. Saints are allowing an 469.3 yards per game, including 307.3 yards per game through the air. Brees will have his way with Oakland’s secondary, but Palmer will have his way with New Orleans’ secondary as well.

The glaring difference between Brees and Palmers' stats is Brees has thrown for 10 more TDs, 25 to 16.

They eek out a win over a weak team after losing 5 of 6 and suddenly are talking playoffs??

hehehe That would be like saying if the Eagles beat the Skins to get to 4-6 they are still in contention.Mathematically yea but likely no way.

Sorry about your Dolphins Rey,I thought they were starting to make some improvements.LAst night was a set back.Tannehill has hit the learning curve it seems.I had Bush on one of my fantasy teams:eek:
